Kaslo Housing Society has completed a ten-unit apartment building of affordable housing and we’re excited to embark on another project. Building these homes for local residents would not have been possible without the dedicated support of our amazing community, and we are looking to you for your continued support to achieve our goal.
We need Board members to steer the ship. We have a dedicated Building Manager, a splendid bookkeeper, and are looking for an interested person for the ED position. We would encourage any of you who feel a passion to contribute to the creation of affordable and attainable, secure homes for Kaslo residents, to step forward to be nominated for a seat on the KHS Board.
If you are generally interested in the housing situation for Kaslo residents and curious about the work of the Kaslo Housing Society, please attend our Annual General Meeting on November, 18 3 pm, at the Seniors Hall.
We have invited an energetic speaker who is as knowledgable as can be about rental housing, BC housing availability, and specifically about Kaslo. What could be better than that? Coffee will be on, plus refreshments, socializing, and idea-sharing. The business part of the AGM will be short, the speaker informative, and the possibilities endless.
