I moved to the Kootenays from Saskatoon about 17 years ago after spending a few years in the Cranbrook area. I came for a ski trip and job interview and 3 months later was a BC resident. After leaving the East Kootenay for the West, I spent about 13 years in radio for the local Nelson station before I joined the Pennywise team in 2014 covering the Castlegar and the Trail areas. I am still serving Castlegar and Trail for this independent Community Shopper. I put a lot of miles on each week, as my client list expands. I really enjoy seeing the success our little paper brings to my clients. We have a simple mantra… “the more you tell, the more you sell”.
