On Sunday July 2, 2023 Kaslo will again host the iDIDaRide & Run races. The races will be held in the True Blue Recreation Area, similar to last year, staging from the Kaslo Arena. Everything starts and ends there.
- The approximate race lengths are 11 km, 17 km, and 24 km and each will be fine-tuned closer to the event.
- The 24 km route has two prominent hill climbs and is for mountain bikes only.
- The 17 km race has one prominent climb, and is for both riders and runners.
- The 11 km race is also for riders and runners. There is a minimal amount of climbing but it is mostly level or downhill.
This event is timed and called a race, which it is for the competitive racers but in fact the majority of the entrants just come to enjoy the trails and being a part of the event, setting their own goals to beat their last years personal best. Which ever type of participant you are, you will be well supported 🙂 Our super fabulous volunteers will be there to guide you – there will be aid stations on each route.
Registration can be done online at www.ididaridekaslo.ca until Wednesday, June 28. This year there is a notable financial incentive to register early. The details on the website! Come for the weekend and enjoy Kaslo and all it has to offer on this Canada Day weekend. Hope to see you there! ~ Race Director, Glen McRae 250-354-3591.
