Join us on May 10 and 11 to celebrate BC’s Hospital Auxiliary Day. Every year BC proclaims Hospital Auxiliary Day to celebrate the thousands of volunteer hours and the hundreds of activities that the Auxiliary Associations in BC donate to the care and comfort of hospital patients and residents, and to communities at large. Kaslo’s Auxiliary is the oldest in BC, having begun in 1902 by the Victorian Order of Nurses in order to build a hospital. With changing times the activities change, but always the focus is to provide for the comfort and care of the long-term care residents at our Health Care Centre. In addition, as we are able, we support many events that meet our mandate, to support the life-long health and well-being of the community.
Celebrate with us at the Thrift Store on Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11. Learn more about our work at our AGM, June 8. Support us by becoming a member or a Society Director. Victorian Hospital Auxiliary Society of Kaslo (VHKAS) aka the Hospital Auxiliary,
