Artists and food vendors are encouraged to respond to an open call for a juried Arts & Culture Faire being planned for Saturday, June 15, 2019. Hosted and organized by the Slocan Valley Community Arts Council, The Whole Arts & Culture Faire will take place from 10 am – 5 pm at the Vallican Whole Community Centre, 3762 Little Slocan South Road in Winlaw.

“The arts are alive and thriving in our region,” explains Board President Peter Vogelaar, “An annual Arts and Culture Faire in the valley will help showcase the incredible talent and creativity happening here.”

The gorgeous Vallican Whole setting will provide for artisan booths both indoors and outside, where performance, kinship and a children’s craft corner will be located. This will be a FREE event for all ages. The Faire will also be a major stopping point on the Eat the Garden Tour, a biannual culinary and horticultural journey through the Slocan Valley, also happening on that same weekend this year.

Applications are now available at simply download the application form and guidelines. Payments will not be processed until after jury selection and unsuccessful applicants will have their payment returned. Deadline to apply is April 20 and successful applicants will be notified by April 30, 2019.
