A mysterious video of an impassioned teenager’s apparent suicide sends Iranian actress Behnaz Jafari on a quest through rural Iran. There they encounter the teens apprehensive family, deeply rooted in the village’s traditional mindset and meet an old silver screen legend living on the edge of town. These three women of different generations are united by their artistic passion and the repression they’ve each experienced at the hands of men.

Playing Friday, February 22 at 7 pm at the Langham Theatre, the film is described as “Charming Iranian Cinema at its purest. Defiantly modern in its liberating message.” Tickets are $10 at the door.
