Creating eEditions

*The following stope are to be repeated with each edition separately.

1) ROTATION & GUIDES

Start by rotating all vertical images 90° right
In PDF Expert = (cmd, r)

In Adobe Acrobat = (shift, cmd, +)

(Open the Affinity Template called, ‘PW-Slice_Centre-Vertical’ to skip these steps.)

4529 W x 3144 H
300 ppi
CMYK, 8bit

Center Vertical Guide: 18.6cm

Drag and drop all images and with the Move Tool selected use the Alignment tool centre vertically and horizontally

Solo out the layer to export

Opening the ‘Persona’ tab, automatically lets. you draw out slices (template is done already)

Then select Slices tab and finally, Export

Make sure to choose the respective folders, and rename your files, deleting the old.

If they need resizing, in the Transform tab, type sw in the Width will make it fit the width, or type sh in the Height will fit the height.

Using Adobe Acrobat, Select ‘Combine Files’.

Drag and drop all files, if named correctly they should all line up in order.

Click Combine, wait…

From the File menu select, ‘Reduced File Size’ — OR, hit ‘Save as…’ and select ‘Reduce File Size’

Select the folder and rename using the specified naming convention, found in another tutorial.
