Lardeau Valley Harvest Festival

The second annual Lardeau Valley Harvest Festival kicks off on September 25 from 11 am 4 pm at the community hall grounds in Meadow Creek. Our first year saw a real sense of community, as all our little villages came together to celebrate harvest and enjoy the day.

This year is proving to be no exception, many of the same vendors are returning. Expect a few new faces as well. Terrys honey farm is happy to take part again, there will be fresh produce from McIntyre farms and Tesla Spring farms, and a variety of fresh baking, homemade goods, crafts, pottery and more. Enter our contests for baking, preserves, and fresh produce. Food and drink will be available, adult and kids games will be running throughout the day, and be sure to sign up for the scarecrow building competition. The heritage society will have the museum open , and the new shower house/bathroom on the grounds will be having its grand opening. Hope to see you there!
